“Scotlands Greatest Irishman” tells the story of Sir Thomas Lipton who started life in the Gorbals. Sir Thomas Lipton went on to become a grocery magnate, entrepreneur and world famous yachtsman enthusiast. His marketing skills included using live pigs to advertise his best bacon! This production follows his life from humble beginnings to being honoured by Glasgow University.
